a most和the most的区别

一、意思不同

the most的意思是最，最…的，最高级。而a most意思是(数量上)最多，最大，大多数，几乎所有。

二、用法不同

the most：most用作副词时是many和much的最高级，可与部分两个或两个以上音节的形容词或副词构成最高级。与形容词连用构成最高级时，前面通常要加定冠词，尤其是在有明确的比较范围时。

a most中的most在构成最高级时，通常指两者以上的“最”，但有时也可以表示两者之间的“最”。在口语中，most可作almost解，与含有every，any，all的词语连用。

三、词性不同

a是泛指任何一个，most在这里是修饰后面的形容词，表示"非常"的意思，the most合起来修饰形容词最高级，表示"最"。
