as if的用法

1、当as if后接表语从句中，其通常用于“It loos/seems as if…”的句型中，表示“看起来似乎……”。

例句：It looks as if the pessimists are being proved right.现在看来似乎悲观论者是正确的。

2、当as if后接状语从句，其含义为“似乎，就好像……”。当所描述的内容，是真实的或极有可能发生或存在的事实，从句通常用陈述语气，句子的谓语用look，seem，taste，smell，feel等。

例句：It sounds as if they might have made a dreadful mistake.听起来他们似乎犯下了一个可怕的错误。

3、as if的谓语动词有时也要使用虚拟语气，用来表示句子中所描述的情况与事实相反，或极少情况发生的情况。

例子：I can remember our wedding as if it were yesterday.我们的婚礼我记忆犹新，就像昨天一样。

4、as though这个短语的用法和as if类似，其含义为“好像，似乎”，其后也能接表语从句、状语从句和从句使用虚拟语气。

例如：At one stage it looked as though they would win.有一段时间，他们好像大有获胜的希望。
