would like和want区别

一、意思不完全相同

1、would like的意思是：想要；愿意

例句：would like to have some ham and eggs.我想要一些火腿和鸡蛋。

2、want的意思是：要；想要；通缉；缺乏；贫穷；需求品

例句：What they talked about is what we want to know.他们谈论什么是我们所想要知道的事。

二、用法不同

1、would like后接名词或代词，表示具体"要"某样东西；后接动词不定式，表示意愿、喜爱，当主语是第一人称时，would可换成should，like也可换成love。

2、want既可以做动词，又可以作名词。作“需要”解时，可接被动形式的动词不定式或主动形式的动名词。可用于过去完成时，表示“未达到本来的愿望”。一般不用于进行时。但表示语气婉转时可用现在进行时或过去进行时。

三、语气不同

1、would like比want的语气委婉、客气。

2、want语气强些，非正式，既可指需要某事物，也可指需要某人做某事。
