travelling和traveling区别

1、意思不同

travel：长途行走；旅行；游历；(以某速度、朝某方向或在某距离内)行进，转送，传播；经长途运输仍不变质；经得住长途运输

travelling：旅行的；巡回的；流动的；旅行用的

2、词性不同

travel可以作动词，也可以名词，表示旅行；旅游；游历

travelling可以作动词，也可以名词，还可以作形容词。

3、用法不同

ravel泛指旅行时，用作不可数名词，不加不定冠词；如果指一次较长时间、且去过多处地方的旅游时，常用复数形式travels。travel可指“旅行笔记，游记”，通常用复数形式，但不加many或数字修饰。

例如：He met many interesting people in his travels。

旅行中他遇到了许多有趣的人。

travelling只能与be动词构成动名词形式，一般不单独使用。

例如：I go to bed early if I'm travelling the next day。

如果第二天去旅行我就早睡。
