none和neither的区别

1、none是一个代词，是代替前边或后边提到的事物，如果没有提到就不用none。

Neither这个词也是代词不过它限定的是后边的东西必须是两者，Neither就表示两者任一者都没有，看似半否，实则全否。

2、neither做主语时，谓语动词一般只能用单数形式。例句:

Neither of the twins looks beautiful.

这对双胞胎看起来都不漂亮。

none做主语时，谓语动词多用单数形式，但是也可以用复数形式。例句:

None of my classmates is/are taller than I/me.

我同学没有一个人比我高。

3、neither是用于两个人或事，两个都不是；none用于两个以上，全都不是。

none读法：英 [nʌn]；美 [nʌn]

adv.(与the加比较级连用)一点都不，绝无；(与too加形容词或副词连用)绝不，不怎么
