do not和don’t的区别

don't和do not在原文的意思上没有区别，在意思上don't=not，都是表达“不做”的意思，但是在具体使用方法上，是存在一定差异的。don't是助动词，意思是后面要接动词。not是否定词，可单独使用，也可接a/an加名词。具体来说，如果原句中存在动词be的形式，那么助动词have，will，shall或情态动词can，may，must，need，had better等，只能使用not形式。例如：You should not jump at conclusion.不该轻率地乱下结论。

但是如果句子中，只有行为动词那么就需要使用don't/doesn't/didn't来构成句式。例如：I don't think you should ham this scene up，if anything，underplay it.即使是剧情需要，也不要把这场戏表演得过火。祈使句中，一般加don't构成否定，let开头的祈使句也需要用not，例如：let sb not do sth句式。His father let him not to haunt with us the bad girls。do not的语气要比don’t的语气更为强烈，主要起强调的作用。例如;如:Please don't try this。请别试着这样做。Please do not try this。请(千万)别试着这样做!也可以认为做了的后果十分的严重！
