beijing和peking的区别

beijing和peking的区别是：1、表示的时期不同。beijing是现在常用的英语表示，现在大多用beijing代替peking，但是仍有些地名仍用邮政式拼音拼写，例如：北京大学Peking University；而peking是北京旧时的英语表示，以前主要是外国人在使用。2、拼音方式不同。beijing采用的是汉语拼音；而peking采用的是邮政式拼音，就是威妥玛式拼音法。
